Guess the simple fact of the matter is that I have referred to these two books for a few years now, Kundalini Tantra by Swami Satyananda Saraswati and Kundalini Yoga for the West by Swami Sivananda Radha and always found the information, validation which they contain, to be fascinating. The chakras, kundalini, sushumna, ida, pingala…they are part of a world of haunting beauty which is real, they are part of the story of being a human on Planet Earth. Just wanted to get these notes down as a form of reference, information to refer to again and again, information to add to when I come across more. From observations of my own state of being, from notes made internally in my own meditation practice, I can relate to the information these pages contain.
Ancient power of shakti. It comes from a place beyond the body yet at the same time lies deep within. A place of awesome power, so much so the only reasonable thing to do, once you have awareness of just how much it is a part of your life, how deep in the very core of your being it lies, is to bow down to it and bow down low. This is the power, the kundalini power which goes way beyond any borders when thinking from the perspective of individual ego personality, which breaks down the barriers for those who wish to taste the marvellous infinity of the indescribable changeless as manifest within this very life.
